Screws

About Our Screws
Screws may be slightly oily when you receive them. That helps to prevent rusting. They are shipped from the manufacturing location in this manner. Please transfer them to a preferred container and store as suitable for your needs and storage style.

If you find any broken chips or deformed screws in the package, please be assured that we have taken that into account and the number of screws you are receiving is as indicated in our description.

Drawing representations given below have been created by measurements or from pre-production process and are for guidance only. During manufacturing process, the dimensions  may vary a little. Please follow dimensions given in the shopping cart description.

Starter Holes:
We advise you to make a pilot/starter hole in the baseboard before you use any of these screws. This is more true for the Long screws as they have a longer "travel" and as a result, may shift the tracks a bit if not screwed in to the track ties vertically, or perpendicular to the surface of the item to be screwed. For the K type and Miniature screws, a thumb tack pressed into the baseboard, through the screw hole in the track, is adequate most of the time.

Screwdrivers:
Our screws work with Philips #00 screwdriver, normally included in most screwdriver sets.
Or you can Order One NOW!!!.
 
We do not encourage use of power driven screwdrivers with our screws.

CL - Long screws for Tracks
An extended version of Märklin's C Track Screw.

See! Great for Ramps!Our long screw range also has a longer one.   The CU Size which is even longer.   Use them to attach acessories and switch boxes etc. to your layout.

(We have a longer version of these CL screws. Please see the CU size below.)

These are approx. 1/16 x 3/4in long (1.55mm x 18.3mm).
They fit Märklin C Track, M Track & good for TT Scale uses. Phillips head, longer threaded portion and longer smooth shank. Click images to see larger views.
