Z1-8+ The accessories decoder of the qDecoder Z1-8 range are suitable for all accessories tasks that switch a maximum of 8 functions. For this reason it is ideal for operating as turnout decoder, serving up to 4 turnouts with one decoder. In addition it can be used for other functions, for example to control lighting systems or light signals. For the control of light signals it is recommended to use a Z1-8+ in conjunction with the specific CV data sets for (for example) HI, H/V or Ks-signals, which can be manually created or obtained from qDecoder. Z1-8 + Stadt1 A Decoder for Lighting up a Model City The decoder for lighting a model city is a specially pre-configured version of the standard decoder Z1-8+ and intended for use on analogue and digital systems. Create a complete day and night cycle including lighting for buildings. The decoder is modeled so that it compresses the 24 hr. day into a 13 minute day cycle. In other words an HO scale "day". Overall, the decoder takes up to 500 mA load. By programming, all settings used in the Z1-8 + Stadt1 can be also be incorporates the light signal decoder and the decoder if required elsewhere. Function outputs are independently adjustable: Dimming (0 ... 100%) Fading-in with transition times of 10 ms up to 2 mins Continuous operation Pulse operation from 10 ms to 11 mins switching time. Z1-16 Complex Light Signals and Accessories The qDecoder of the Z1-16 range are suitable for all accessory tasks that require upto a maximum of 16 functions. It is ideal for operating as turnout decoder, serving up to 8 turnouts with one decoder. In addition it can be used for other functions, for example to control lighting systems or light signals For the control of complex light signals we recommend using a Z1-16 in conjunction with specific CV data sets, which can be created manually or obtained from qDecoder. Z2-8 Locos, Light Signals & Accessories The Qdecoder Z2-8 series is currently being introduced only by TrainAidsA and not yet available in rest of the market. This series is suitable for operating Locos, as well as lamps and LEDs, suitable to be connected to the positive or negative. It has 8 ports that allow for example, four operation of four switch/turnout/point machines.
