Oddments
Oddment is defined as, something left over, odds and ends
A very interesting challenge is to use these odds and ends at home.
Items that we generally
throw away or or do not know what to do with, until a great idea comes
along.
Sometimes the items are left over from what we buy for our modelling
purposes.
They can be used in creative ways in modelling. Some in sceneries,
some as raw material for certain parts and some as replacements of
expensive items. But mainly, the solutions you will see in this section
are creative ways in which either a problem was solved using something
at home, or the left-over was a good catalyst or the source for the
solution in mind.
We encourage you to submit your contributions. As a start, I have put some pictures of what I have made in such fashion. In fact, most of my layout developed this way where I used as much of what I needed, first by substituting what I needed with what I could find.
This section is for you to show your success & creativity and to get ideas on how to utilize odds and ends you would find at home.

How to Submit:
For submission, please send material to be included, to "info (at) trainaidsa.com". The material can be in the following formats:
a) HTML (without any style sheets, iframes or direct or indirect
links to other
sites).
b) PDF (without any advertising or promotional reference)
c) TEXT or RTF format
d) Video (shorter than 2 minutes each in length and maximum 5 MB in
size).
e) Images in GIF/JPEG or animated GIF (Please do not exceed 20MB for
each gallery section).
Notes:
We do not enhance or manipulate graphics, PDF or other submitted
material. Graphics, video etc.
will be presented "as is". We may however, reduce
the size to fit.
Providers of any material submitted to TrainAidsA are responsible for obtaining all legal rights, responsibilities, copyrights and trademarks. TrainAidsA is not responsible for any unauthorized material listed on its or its affiliated sites.
No commerical advertising, is allowed such as banners, logos incorporated in your project pictures or independently in the form of graphics or otherwise.
In case of any commerical advertising being noticed, the submitter may have to forgoe a part or all of the submission as judged appropriate by TrainAidsA.
Submissions may or may not be about items produced and sold by
TrainAidsA, but commercial placements are not preferred. If you would
like to advertise, please contact us directly with your suggestions.
Tips & Tricks and how to handle operational, electronic, programming and layout issues that may help fellow modellers are welcome and may be placeed in the Gallery or in our Support section. They should be sent by email to "info (at) trainaidsa.com"
