FloodLight Panel Substitute in SMD
I picked up a leftover piece of a PC board to test using SMD's as a substitute for my floodlights. Though the night view cannot be correctly displayed, the solution looks workable. The PC board can be shaped below the LEDs to insert into the tower base. Will make a frame from leftover grey plastic styrene or similar to match the tower shaft. I plan to use these instead of incandescent bulbs. I used warm-white SMD LEDs for this experiment, but it looks like white would be stronger and better as well. Then first to replace the floodlight tower that has bent a bit due to the heat.
